Social Media Automation Tools - The Ultimate Time Saving Strategy
In our last blog post, we talked about how to get attention and followers fast on social media using vertical videos.
Towards the bottom of that post we discuss repurposing content and sharing your vertical videos to up to 6 of the major social media networks.
But there is another level up in the process that I want to discuss in this blog post.
That level is called social media automation.
In this blog post I will discuss this very important level in a social media strategy.
This step is so critical and extremely helpful that it deserves it's own article.
Introduction To Social Media Automation Tools
In today's fast-paced digital era, learning how to be active online without getting overwhelmed is crucial.

We're about to delve into the realm of balancing productivity with staying truly connected!
🕰️ Time-Saving Benefits of Social Media Automation
Content marketing's vital role in today's digital world is indisputable.
As businesses grow their online footprint, manually sharing content across several platforms becomes a chore.
Enter social media automation tools, radically changing how content gets shared with audiences.
These tools are game-changers, allowing content to be shared systematically across multiple platforms without constant human oversight.
They free up marketers to maintain consistent, on-schedule publications, essential for engaging audiences and strengthening their online presence.
One key benefit is how these tools integrate with various social media networks.
This means content goes out to different channels at once, bypassing the need to log into each separately—a real time-saver that also cuts down on mistakes.
Automation tools also let marketers schedule content for high-engagement times, boosting post visibility and effect.
This forward-thinking method ensures businesses stay visible online, keeping them top of mind for their audience.
They even have analytics to track content performance, helping marketers tune their strategies and make informed choices to better their efforts.
To sum up, automation tools are a boon for content marketers, streamlining sharing, saving time, and providing performance insights. They redefine content marketing efficiency.
By incorporating automation, businesses enhance productivity and engagement, allowing them to concentrate on crafting quality content while the tools handle distribution, ensuring the message reaches the right people at the perfect time.
Posting Consistency & Frequency
If you've ever felt the pressure of keeping your online presence alive and kicking, you're not alone. In the digital age, consistency and frequency in posting on social media can make or break your online influence.
But how do you keep up with the relentless demand for fresh content?
That's where social media automation tools come to the rescue.
Let's dive into why posting consistency is essential and how automation can help you stay on top of your social media game.
First things first, let's talk about the elephant in the virtual room: posting consistency.
It's no secret that to build a loyal following, you need to be a constant figure in your audience's social media feeds.
Consistency helps in establishing trust and reliability with your followers.
It's like showing up to a coffee date with a friend every week – it becomes something they look forward to and can count on.
This regularity not only helps in maintaining a connection with your current audience but also gives you more visibility, increasing the chances of reaching new eyes.
Now, maintaining a regular posting schedule sounds simple in theory, but it can be quite the juggling act.
This is where social media automation tools become your best friend.
These tools allow you to schedule posts in advance, ensuring that your content goes live at the times you've determined to be most effective, even if you're off the grid or swamped with other tasks.
It's like having a virtual assistant dedicated to keeping your social media presence active while you focus on creating killer content or running your business.
Speaking of timing, let's not overlook the importance of social media posting times.
The internet is a bustling place, and your audience's attention is a hot commodity.
If you're posting when they're most active, you're more likely to get engagement, whether it's likes, shares, comments, or clicks.
But how do you figure out when your audience is scrolling through their feeds?
This is another area where social media automation tools shine.
Many of these platforms offer analytics that can help you identify the optimal times to post, based on when your content has historically performed the best.
If you want to grow your online presence, you can't afford to be haphazard about when and how often you post. Social media automation tools are the secret ingredient to ensuring posting consistency and capitalizing on the best social media posting times.
They take the guesswork out of the equation and free up your time, so you can engage with your audience in real-time or brainstorm your next big idea.
Embrace these tools, and watch your online presence thrive with the power of consistency and smart timing.
How To Use Social Media Automation Tools & Content Recycling In Your Business
I'm going to let you in on a little secret that will completely catapult you past your competitors online.
It's a little strategy called content recycling.
Let's think about the followers journey of one of your social media accounts. Let's say Instagram.
Now let's look at this from your followers perspective.
When you follow someone on Instagram or social media in general, how often do you go look back further than their last 10-15 pieces of content?
YouTube might be a little different, but for Instagram, Facebook, X, Tiktok, Linkedin etc most of the time we follow someone because we saw a post in our feed we liked, and we may check out a few of their past pieces of content, but most of the time we just follow them and move on looking forward to their future content.
Most of us don't see what someone posted 3, 4, or 5 months ago.
This is where the content recycling strategy comes to life.
As the content creator or business owner we have to come up with content ideas, create them, and post them.
Just to not have all of our followers see the content.
But if you were to recycle that post you made 5 months ago and post it today, a new batch of followers and some older followers will be introduced to your content for the very first time.
And the best part is, you didn't have to come up with a new idea, create, and post it.
This is how content recycling and social media automation tools can set your social media strategy on autopilot.
Of course, I'm telling you this strategy because we use this strategy with our private clients and there is a simple yet powerful feature inside of Prestige Rep that allows you to do content recycling.
It's a feature called "recurring posts"
This strategy has completely changed the way we approach social media and has allowed our clients to save a ton of time and money by having a very simple yet powerful social media strategy that brings them new followers, new engagements, and new sales.
Our Step By Step Strategy For Content Recycling Using The Recurring Posts Feature Inside Of Prestige Rep
We come up with 90 days of content ideas
We create those pieces of content as we go
When we post the content, we put it on a recurring schedule. Typically every 3 months for newer or low follower count accounts. 6 months for larger accounts that post a lot already.
So what happens is we post today and that same post automatically reposts in 90 days.
Once we reach 90 days we have 90 pieces of content that can be recycled and we could let that run on autopilot and just respond to comments and DM's from there.
Or, at the 90 day mark, we could start posting new content and putting it on a new and different 90 day recurring schedule. This would now give us 2 posts per day to reach our audience and gain new followers.
After 6 months we would have 180 pieces of content posting twice per day.
At the 6 month mark, we could stop there and let the content continue to post on autopilot and we could just respond to comments and DM’s from there.
Or at the 6 month mark, we could start posting new content and putting it on a new and different 90 day recurring schedule. This would now give us 3 posts per day to reach our audience and gain new followers.
Do you see how powerful this is?
We’re talking about a strategy that can bring you new business on autopilot for a fraction of the cost of running paid ads.
With a little planning and some time your content calendar can look and run on autopilot like this calendar here.
This client is up to 4 posts per day all on autopilot. We are simply posting new content to fill in the holes from previous months.
It has been a game changer in saving time, money, and resources.
This clients account continues to get new followers, more engagement, and sales
If you’re not currently using social media automation tools, it’s time to rethink your social media strategy.
Stop wasting so much time manually posting and trying to come up with new ideas.
